Safety & Reporting

Acceptable use, prohibited content and reporting harmful or unauthorized material.

Last updated: 2026-10-19

Eligibility and acceptable use

You must be old enough to form a binding contract in your jurisdiction, and at least 18 years old where the law requires it, to use the service. Use only inputs you own or are authorized to process, and obtain any consent the law or the rights holder requires.

Prohibited uses

Do not submit or create:

  • Content involving minors in a sexual or exploitative way.
  • Sexual content or intimate imagery without consent.
  • Targeted harassment, threats, hateful abuse or graphic violence.
  • Identity fraud, deceptive impersonation, false endorsements or fabricated statements attributed to a real person.
  • Material that infringes copyright, trademark, privacy or other rights, or that you cannot lawfully send to a third-party processing service.
  • Attempts to bypass moderation, access controls or provider restrictions.

The full acceptable-use rules are in the Terms of Service.

Review before sharing

Check your inputs before submitting, then review the entire output before publishing. Label shared results as generated where the destination platform requires it. Do not use an unexpected result to mislead people about what a person did, said or endorsed.

Automated checks can make mistakes and do not establish identity, age, ownership or permission. A rejection stops the request; an unavailable required check does not count as approval. Do not resubmit prohibited material to try to obtain a different decision.

Report a concern

Submit reports through the existing feedback channels: email support@texttostl.net or use an account support ticket. Email does not require an account.

Put the type of concern in the subject and include the page or media URL, a reference to the related record if known, a short explanation and your relationship to the material. For a rights complaint, explain which person or work is affected and why the use appears unauthorized. Do not send passwords, API keys, identity documents or extra sensitive material; if the material is sensitive, identify it by URL instead of attaching another copy.

Enforcement and review

Requests identified as violating these rules are refused. Do not repeatedly submit prohibited material or attempt to bypass the decision.

We review reports manually. We provide an initial response within 2 business days of receiving a report and complete our review and any necessary enforcement within 7 business days of receiving the report. We communicate the outcome to the reporter through the same feedback channel. Business days are Monday through Friday, excluding public holidays in China, measured in China Standard Time (UTC+8). We may request clarification to identify the affected content or rights holder.

If a violation is confirmed, we may take one or more of the following measures according to the available evidence and the seriousness or repetition of the violation:

  • Issue a written warning requiring the prohibited use to stop.
  • Remove the related content or restrict access to it.
  • Temporarily suspend the account or its access to specific features.
  • Permanently close the account for serious or repeated violations, including attempts to evade enforcement.
  • Revoke credits verified as obtained through fraud or other abuse. Revocation is limited to improperly obtained credits and does not confiscate unrelated, legitimately purchased credits.

Serious violations may result in suspension or closure without a prior warning. Removal cannot recall copies others have already downloaded or shared.

Notice and appeals

When we can contact the affected user, we explain the decision and its reason by email or the existing account support ticket, unless privacy, an investigation or applicable law limits what we can disclose. To request reconsideration, reply through the same feedback channel or contact Support, quoting the decision and the additional information you want us to consider. Email remains available if the account is suspended or closed.

The Terms of Service explain these measures. A report or warning does not automatically change a credit balance, approve a refund or promise a new attempt. This mailbox is not an emergency service. See Privacy and Refunds for related requests.
