Acceptable Use Policy

Rules for using TextToSTL to create and manage 3D models.

Last updated: 2026-10-24

Purpose and scope

TextToSTL turns text descriptions and, where supported, reference images into 3D model outputs. This policy applies to prompts, uploaded material, generated results, and your use of the service. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed to submit your inputs and use the resulting files.

Prohibited content and conduct

Do not use the service to create, upload, or distribute content or material that:

  • Is unlawful, pornographic, sexually explicit, or NSFW, or sexually exploits or sexualizes minors, or depicts sexual violence.
  • Promotes or depicts graphic violence or gore, credible threats, targeted harassment, or hatred against a person or group.
  • Infringes copyright, trademark, privacy, publicity, or other rights, or that you are not authorized to send to the service or its processing providers.
  • Uses deceptive deepfakes to impersonate a real person, falsely claims their endorsement, or is designed to facilitate fraud or harm.
  • Contains malware, compromises security, or interferes with the service or other users.

You must not attempt to bypass applicable usage limits, safety checks, access controls, or provider restrictions. Do not use model outputs to make weapons or other items for unlawful harm.

Inputs and generated outputs

Submit only text and images you own or are authorized to use. Obtain any consent required before using another person's image, identity, or protected material. Review generated files before downloading, sharing, selling, or using them. A generated mesh may contain defects and is not a guarantee of printability, safety, or suitability for a particular purpose. Check it in your own 3D tools and follow applicable laws and safety standards.

Safety checks and enforcement

Before a model-generation request is sent to the generation provider, its prompt is screened by Waffo. Only prompts that pass this check proceed; blocked, review-required, or unavailable checks stop the request before generation. We may also restrict access when activity appears to violate this policy, applicable law, or provider requirements. Do not repeatedly submit prohibited material or try to evade a decision.

For rules about reports and review, see the Safety & Reporting page. For account actions and appeals, see the Terms of Service.
